What is a Chiropractor?
A chiropractor is an individual who received a Doctorate of Chiropractic from an accredited Graduate level school. Chiropractic School is most commonly 4 years post undergraduate college, which brings a total of 8 years in Secondary Education. Chiropractors practice in all sorts of different ways due to the broad scope of practice that chiropractors have. This is a good thing because everyone can find a spot for chiropractic in their lifestyle. Due to the extensive education process Chiropractors can help with a multitude of conditions and often sharing the same goal which is to keep people off drugs and away from surgery unless necessary and that is a last resort.
Are Chiropractors real doctors?
Often the question is presented "Are Chiropractors REAL Doctors though?" My response is always the same...Yes. For me personally to be a chiropractor means to make a constant mission to remove aches pains and dysfunctions in everyone to improve their overall health and ultimately the community’s overall health. Also, to be a community leader and make relationships in the community to ensure each individual and myself are getting the best care possible.
What do Chiropractor’s do?
Chiropractors care for individuals that have a health burden, the scope is so large that a person could go 3 different chiropractic clinics and get 3 different philosophies. Some are sports injuries only, others focus on kids, some do therapies and rehab. For me I am focused on Whole Family health and wellness. We use several techniques and some cutting edge technology to help ensure the best results based on your specific assessment. Taking care of your nervous system just like you take care of your teeth… hopefully. We can order any tests and refer you to the right place to get them such as an x-ray, MRI, blood work or nerve scan. In our office we have neurological technology and digital x-ray. Our goal is to educate and empower each individual and family about the nervous system and how removing interference can eliminate health burdens or manage them thus they are functioning optimally to have the best quality of life possible.
